Raced in my first ever ocean swim today and used this wetsuit! It was an absolute dream. Its easy to wear and the shoulders are not restricted in movement at all. The suit is also buoyant, which helps my hips. This is a great wetsuit for beginners and pros alike! The team at GOW are reliant and helpful - I will be buying again!
Super stoked with this wetsuit, and the customer service from Sam who was super helpful in making sure I was in the perfect fitted suit for myself. Since wearing this suit the key things that stick out for me would be how effortless it feel with almost no restriction throughout the shoulder, the craftsmanship that has gone into the suit with really quality rubber that you can tell will hold up wear after wear.
Bought this wetsuit as an upgrade for IM OZ. Suit fits like a glove and performs well in the water without being restrictive. No rub anywhere and slips straight off in T1. Gained about 4sec per 100m over my previous suit. Cant recommend Great Ocean Wetsuits for their products and customer sevice. Best in the business
I have used many wetsuits over the past few years but nothing compares to the Great Ocean Gold Wetsuit. It feels like a second skin, provides buoyancy in all the right places, has great flexibility in the shoulder region & offers a well-balanced feel in the water! In my opinion, it’s the gold standard of wetsuits!
Super comfortable, super flexible and floats in all the right places. Bonus points for how quickly this comes off in T1. This suit assisted me in qualifying for 70.3 Ironman world champs.
10/10. An outstanding wetsuit. I genuinely get excited to put on my wetsuit, it's comfortable, great fit, easy to put on and even easier to take off - ideal for a fast swim/bike transition. The buoyancy, feel and flexibility around the body is amazing. And to think this is their 'mid-range' wetsuit.
The guys at Great Ocean Wetsuits were amazing to deal with, super helpful with sizing, and willing to go the extra effort being a small team, if your looking for a wetsuit I can not recommend enough. Wetsuit is super duper well made. Will be shopping here again!
Have swam in top of the like Roka and TYR previously, tried the Gold sleeved wetsuit and was genuinely blown away at how much better it feels. Was like the first time trying carbon plated running shoes, feels like cheating! It also comes off so easily for fast transitions. 10/10 would great ocean again
This is the most freedom I've felt wearing a wetsuit. The range of motion through the shoulders and across the chest feels as though I'm hardly wearing anything. The buoyancy is excellent, it's super comfortable, I'd recommend this suit to beginners through to elite swimmers and triathletes.
